Lavender Wand Make and Take Class
In the 17th and 18th century, women found creative ways to capture the lavender scent. The “Fuseaux de Lavande” or Lavender Wands or Batons were made by weaving beautiful ribbons with the stems of lavender to enclose the fragrant lavender blossoms inside. Lavender wands or bottles were carried and used as fragrant posies to carry and smell. Come join us for a class in weaving these lavender wands. You will have enough supplies to make two wands. The class is best for those over 12 years.
